Once, there was a child who is attending a toy racing car race. Truly festive atmosphere that afternoon. For, this is the final round. It was only 4 people now and they exhibit any toy cars owned. Everything is homemade, because, that's the way the rules.
There was a boy named Mark. His car was not special, but it was included in four children who enter the final. Compared to all his opponents, cars Mark is the most imperfect. Some children doubted the power of the car to race against other cars.
Well, indeed, the car was not so interesting. With simple wood and little blinking lights on top. certainly not comparable with luxury trimmings owned other toy cars. However, Mark's proud of it all, because, the car was made in his own hands.
Came the moment that awaited. Final championship racing car toy. Each child began preparing at the start line, to drive their cars tightly. At each passage, has prepared four cars, with 4 "little riders". The passageway is circular in shape with four separate lines of them.
However, a moment later. Mark asked for a moment before the race started, he seemed to mumble as if in prayer. His eyes were closed, with hands bertangkup prayer. Then, a minute later, he said, "Yes, I'm ready!".
Dor. Signs have begun. With a strong jerk. they started pushing the car hard. All the cars that rolled rapidly. Everyone cheering, excited, championed the car respectively. "Come on .. come on ... fast .. fast forward .. forward", so they shouted. Ahha. .sang winner must be determined, finish the track rope had been waved. And, Mark is the winner. Yes. everything is happy, so is Mark. He says, and muttering about them anymore. "Thank you."
When the division trophy arrived. Mark came forward with pride. Before the trophy was handed over, the committee chairman asked. "Hey champ, you must have been praying to God that you win, is not it?". Mark was silent. "No, sir, that's not what I prayed" said Mark.
She then continued. "It seems unfair to ask the Lord to help you beat the others." I just pray to God, that I do not cry, if I lose. "All present fell silent to hear it. After a while, there came thundering applause that filled the room ,
Reflection:
Kids seem to have more wisdom than all of us. Mark, not to pray to God to win every test. Mark, do not ask God to pass on and regulate any results to be achieved. The boy did not ask God to grant all of his expectations, he did not pray to win, and hurt others. However, Mark, pray to God, to be given the strength in the face of it all, he prayed, to be given the glory, and wanted to realize shortage with pride.
Perhaps, had a lot of time we did weeks to pray to God to grant our every request. Too often we ask God to make us number one, be the best, to be a winner in every exam. Too often we pray to the Lord, to dispel any obstacles and trials that lie ahead. In fact, not that we need is in His guidance, His guidance, and guide him?
We are often too weak to believe that we are strong. We often forget, and we often feel maudlin with this life. Was there no fighting spirit that we want to go through? I believe. God gives us a severe test, not to make us weak, whiny and easily give up. Indeed. God is testing every servant of His pious.
